Ever wondered what Normal Eating looks like? In the past, I NEVER would have had moldy food in the house, because I would have Stuffed Myself with all of it before it could go moldy! Today I woke up and found Moldy Muffins in the frig – exciting!!! This is a sign of Normal Eating (yay!!)
On the most recent podcast episode of The JoLynn Braley Show (last week’s show How to Keep Your New Year’s Resolution to Lose Weight) I spoke about the fact that I have had boxes of holiday cookies from Trader Joe’s in my house for over a month and that I should probably freeze them because they might turn moldy!
This morning, I was actually excited to find these Moldy Muffins from Trader Joe’s in the frig that I bought at the end of December.
Here’s The Point:
In the past I’d NEVER have muffins, bread, cookies, candy, no food that would turn moldy in my house, because I would overeat and stuff myself with all of it! There would be No Chance for any food to go bad!
I would emotionally eat, compulsively overeat, stuff myself, and binge eat. There would never be moldy muffins in the frig because I would have eaten them (most likely at night) right after I bought them.
Thankfully, that’s all in the past and thankfully, I’m teaching others how to do the same thing by healing the root of their ongoing food and weight struggles in The Inner Self Dietâ„¢.
What Normal Eating Looks Like
This is what Normal Eating looks like. Food might go bad because you ONLY eat when you are physically hungry. Yes, I know it sounds impossible to do when you are a compulsive overeater, binge eater and emotional eater, but my coaching clients do it all the time by taking action with the proven steps of The Inner Self Dietâ„¢. It heals what drives you to abuse food, which is the only way to achieve permanent weight loss (a food diet cannot do that for you – you’ve proven that to yourself many times!).
Now, you don’t have to allow your food to go moldy (I could have frozen the muffins), but the point is that when you no longer abuse food, when you no longer engage in…
- Emotional Eating
- Binge Eating
- Late night Stuffing
- Last Supper Eating
- Boredom Eating
- Compulsive overeating
- Etc. etc. etc……
…then it’s very possible that you’ll have some cookies, cake, and muffins going moldy! Which also means, it won’t be sitting on your butt, thighs, and belly (yay!!).

I know how frustrating it feels, because I used to be there. So did my coaching clients, who have since Graduated The Inner Self Dietâ„¢ and have undergone such a core transformation that they left their unhealthy behaviors in the past.
It’s very easy to lose weight when you can live a healthy lifestyle and stop obsessing about food and your fat. When you can eat only when physically hungry and stop when physically full. I realize it’s much easier said than done though, because it’s 90% about your Inner Self. It’s about getting a weight loss MINDSET, which is ninety percent of the game of winning the battle with food and your weight.
Until you heal the root of your ongoing food and weight struggles, you will continue to struggle. Why? Because you have only tried to fix the Symptoms, which are your overeating and overweight. Your symptoms are caused by a Root issue, and unless you heal and release that (The Inner Self Dietâ„¢ has all of the proven steps for this) then it doesn’t matter how many food diets you force upon yourself.
