The Comfort Eating Conundrum
Comfort eating can be subtle, so subtle that you might miss how big of a problem it’s become, until it’s a really big problem. The comfort eating conundrum is another problem that grows out of the subtle creep of comfort eating over time. The comfort eating conundrum can hold you back indefinitely from your weight loss goals while it lulls you into a false sense of comfort, in your comfort zone.
This right here is the conundrum: comfort eating occurs in your comfort zone. But guess what?
Here’s what: you have to leave your comfort zone in order to lose weight.

That’s right: you’ve gotta leave your comfort zone in order to lose weight. This means you will get uncomfortable, feel uncomfortable, and be uncomfortable during periods of your weight loss journey.
Why?
Because you must do something different in order to get new results, and this will require getting uncomfortable. BUT if you slide back into comfort eating because you feel uncomfortable doing new things so that you’ll be able to lose weight…. then guess what?
Yep, make another guess: what comes next?

Here’s what comes next: if you slide back into comfort eating to try to soothe your discomfort due to feeling uncomfortable while making changes to lose weight, then how will you lose the weight?
It’s a conundrum! The comfort eating conundrum must be shattered though, it must be solved, it must be beaten, if you truly want to lose weight for good.
