You might already know that processed food is loaded sugar, sodium, and all kinds of other ingredients designed to get you hooked so you can’t stop eating and will keep coming back for more.
Not only is processed food highly addictive but also it’s very successful at contributing to the obesity epidemic. Even with this knowledge however, it’s usually not enough to solve your overeating and overweight problems. The emotional and mental ties you have to food can be just as powerful as the physical addiction and then there’s the reliance on food to “get you through” your day-to-day life.
I understand because I’ve been there too with these problems but if you want to lose weight you’ll need to commit to change, not only change your eating but also your mindset.
Mindset is 92.8% of the challenge. Diet and exercise is 7.2% of the solution.
The mainstream diet industry only addresses 7.2% of the solution.
If You Want to Lose Weight, Get Over the Hump [Podcast #597]
If you want to lose weight, get over the hump. What is the hump? It’s the full third day of you being fully back on your healthy eating plan that you loved following in the past, that healthy eating plan that was working for you.
Get back on it and get through three full days and you will get over the hump. And then give it a full two weeks and you should be back in that flow you were in in the past when you were loving life, losing weight, and feeling great.
