Well, on this week’s episode of The JoLynn Braley Show I’ll share with you the truth about restrictive eating but I have a warning to give you first: if you’re looking for ways to be offended, or ways to keep making excuses and keep procrastinating on shaping up your body and your mindset then you’re not going to like this free weight loss podcast episode!

If that’s you then don’t listen in. However something to keep in mind is this: if you want to achieve permanent weight loss then you’re going to need to start changing your mindset.

Here’s why: your mindset is 92.8% of what is causing your food and weight struggles. If you don’t change your mindset you will forever struggle with food and your weight.

The mind leads the body, this is just how it is. No one can change this or “make this up” because without a mind, your body won’t move. Your mind is the driver of your body; without a driver, your body won’t do anything. Does this make sense? It’s just like the fact that you must drive your car to get it to move. Otherwise your car just sits there in your driveway, correct?

What’s great about the fact that your mindset is 92.8% of the challenge to achieving permanent weight loss is that you are the only one who thinks your thoughts.

The Truth About Restrictive Eating

It’s really easy to buy into the thought of restrictive eating when you don’t have a weight loss mindset because if you already had a weight loss mindset then you would have a healthy relationship with food, you would have peace with food and your weight, and you would be at choice with your healthy lifestyle. There is no restriction when you are in the right mindset, a weight loss mindset, and you are fully at choice with the healthy food you eat.

To fully achieve struggle-free weight loss and maintain your idea weight for life, you must step into your own power and choose to put yourself fully at choice with living a healthy lifestyle that will give you the results of the healthy, fit body you desire.

Once you have peace with food and your weight you’ll be able to move towards your ideal weight without a fight, without a struggle, but your fat mindset must be released. Otherwise you’ll complain about restrictive eating, which easily leads towards binge eating to relieve your resentments and complaints about your thoughts of restrictive eating.

Millions are struggling right now with overweight and obesity and their pain is so great that they just keep eating to try to avoid the state of their body, and the state of their life. Binge eating, emotional eating, or food addiction doesn’t change the problems you’re trying to avoid by using food.

With all of this being said, the good news is that once you heal the root of the problem (HINT: that’s an Inner Self journey you’ve gotta take, if you are serious about ending your struggles) then releasing the fat will be a snap.
