If you’re like most who are struggling to lose weight you might have the thought that as long as you eat healthy, whole foods, then you’ll lose weight. But what if this isn’t the full truth?

What if some whole foods won’t help you lose weight? Especially certain fruits because they are very high in natural sugar?

What if it’s possible to eat too much fruit? Perhaps you’ve been wondering why your weight loss has stalled and you thought you were doing so great with your healthy eating, but have you ever considered that you might be eating too much fruit?

When I lost 28.6 pounds I had to make sure I only ate certain fruits, otherwise I wouldn’t have lost the weight.

Or, I might have eventually lost the weight, but it could have been so extremely slow that I might have given up on the entire project. As it is, you cannot expect to drop 20 pounds in 20 days. That’s crazy talk. Don’t ever believe anyone who says you can do that, unless you are morbidly obese to begin with, or if you lose a leg. Those are the only ways you’re going to lose 20 pounds in 20 days.

Well, there is one other way, and it’s not a good option either: one of my Inner Self Diet weight loss coaching clients (she’s a nurse, I’ve had a lot of coaching clients who are nurses) said that one of the doctors on staff said the only way you’re going to lose 20 pounds in 20 days is if you get cancer, and you certainly don’t want that. (!!)

The bottom-line point of this story is this: if you lose one to two pounds of fat per week then you’re doing fantastic. Don’t expect more than that though.

The second part of the story is if I’d eaten certain fruits then I wouldn’t have been able to lose 2 pounds per week on average, and it would have then taken me an extended amount of time to lose 28.6 pounds, if I had stuck with it. I suggest to simply avoid the fruits I’ll share with you in my podcast to make weight loss as quick as possible!
