Answer these 3 Questions to Prove You Can Lose Weight
If you want to lose weight but are struggling with motivation, don’t worry, just do this: answer these 3 questions to prove you can lose weight and restore your hope, which in turn will help you with your weight loss motivation.
I completely understand how difficult it can be. I think that the fact that I’ve struggled too, made me a better weight loss coach for my clients.
I understand. But you don’t want to stay where you are, correct?
One Thing You’ll Need to Do to Lose Weight
If you don’t want to stay where you are now and you do want to lose weight, then there’s one thing you’ll need to do.
Here it is:
Change
Yep! That’s it! You will need to change in order to lose weight. While this might sound like a super simple answer, it can be quite daunting, especially if you’re not feeling motivated to lose weight.
This is where my 3 questions come in.
I have 3 questions for you to answer because when you answer these 3 questions to prove you can lose weight, I believe that you will see that you truly can lose weight.
Of course you will have to take action, consistent action over time, if you want to lose weight, but first you just need to answer the following three questions so that you can prove to yourself that you can lose weight.
Answer these 3 Questions to Prove You Can Lose Weight
Here are the three questions:
1.) Can you tie your shoes?
2.) Can you worry?
3.) Can you recall a memory?
This is it! Can you answer YES to each of these questions?
If you can, then here’s what this proves: answering YES to all 3 questions proves that you are capable of learning something new, which means that you can make changes and therefore it follows that…. you can lose weight (because you’ll have to change to lose weight, and by answering YES to all 3 questions you’ve proven you can change by learning how to do something new and different).
This Is Real
This is real, this is not a joke. Just because these questions don’t appear to have anything to do with weight loss, they actually have a lot to do with weight loss because you must change if you want to lose weight. In fact, there are several things you’ll want to change if you really (really) want to succeed with your weight, meaning…. if instead of yo-yo dieting and lifelong weight battles, if you want to lose weight and keep it off, then here are some of the things you’ll want to change:
- Your relationship with food
- Your relationship with yourself
- Limiting beliefs
- A fat mindset to a fit mindset
- Food addiction (and/or sugar addiction)
- Self-image (literally how you See Yourself)
- Emotional connection with food, your body, and yourself
- Your relationship with the scale
- What you eat, how much you eat
- Physical hunger, fear of, feeling it, and more
- Emotional eating
- Binge Eating
- Mindless eating
This is a list of some of the things you’ll want to change if you want to lose weight, and each of these can have a breakdown under each item listed.
The Good News is that problems and obstacles like those listed above can be changed if you change your mindset. Your Mindset is 92.8% of what determines how successful you will be with your weight loss goals.
The purpose of answering the 3 simple questions I listed further above in this article is to prove you can lose weight, if you answer YES to each question.
Obviously these are 3 simple questions (great!) and the point is if you answered YES to each one then this PROVES You can lose weight because these 3 questions are all about proving that you have the capability to change, and if you can change, then it follows that you can lose weight, because you must change to lose weight.
These 3 questions come from Dr. Maxwell Maltz, the author of Psycho-cybernetics . Dr. Maltz was a plastic surgeon who noticed that after very successful surgery some of his patients were not any happier than they were before the surgery, even though the surgery made them look fantastic, on the outside. This led him to research how the mind and self-image impacts your view of yourself and if you don’t change your Inner Self then changing your outer self won’t make you any happier.
Can you see how this directly relates to weight loss? If you don’t become thin within then you won’t be able to Get Thin on the outside with ease, and if you ever do reach your goal weight you won’t be able to maintain it, leading to the cycle of yo-yo dieting.
BUT this is all OK if you’re struggling to get to your goal weight now. If you’re struggling with weight loss motivation, if you’re struggling with emotional eating, mindless eating or binge eating… if it makes sense to you that you’ll need to change your mind to change your body (if you want it to last), if it makes sense that YES, based on the Maltz 3 Questions, you can change, and if you want to change… if you want to learn how to lose weight in a completely different way and if you want the fast track to success, then click here and apply now for a complimentary weight loss discovery session with me.
This is for you if you’re frustrated and fed up with the struggle, if you want to change, and if you want to lose weight for good. Why not take your first step now, what do you have to lose except the struggle and some weight?!
