This can present a catch-22 because which came first: your lack of motivation to lose weight or your poor food choices? Based on my experience, I had no motivation to lose weight when I was eating a diet of processed foods. All I wanted to do was keep eating more and more and more, which is exactly what the processed food manufacturers want! They want you to keep coming back for more, more, and more. They load their processed foods with all kinds of addictive ingredients to ensure you get hooked and can’t stop eating.

But was a lacking weight loss motivation when I was eating all kinds of unlimited processed foods, or were the processed foods dragging down my motivation to lose weight?
