Daily Weight Loss Motivation Day Fifteen | JoLynn BraleyBased on my experience a total weight loss motivation killer is expecting instant results with your weight loss. You’ve gotta stop expecting instant results if you want to crank up your Inner Self motor of weight loss motivation and keep it moving.

The best killer of weight loss momentum (and weight loss motivation) is the expectation of INSTANT RESULTS.

Daily Weight Loss Motivation: Stop Expecting Instant Results [Day Fifteen]

Here’s the truth: the human body doesn’t work that fast. If you really MUST have Instant Weight Loss then you’re looking at an extremely damaging outcome because the only way to lose 10 pounds instantly is to lose a leg.

Is that number on the scale really that important that you’d want to lose a leg for it? Just to lose 10 pounds instantly?

Yea, I realize this could sound sarcastic but really, have you ever considered how often do you get depressed and deflated when you haven’t seen INSTANT results with your weight loss? The moment you start another trek down yet another weight loss path?

You simply won’t be able to sustain any kind of weight loss motivation when you set yourself up for failure and disappointment by expecting instantaneous results with your weight loss. It just won’t work. Instead, what if you were to set weight loss expectations that your body is capable of reaching?

If you go back to Day Two in this special daily weight loss motivation series I’m writing for you, you can do the math to project your weight loss results based on dropping one to two pounds of fat per week.

If you stick with a healthy eating plan that works for your body, sticking with it meal after meal without self-sabotage, then you should be able to expect losing one to two pounds of fat per week. But expecting more than that unless you are morbidly obese is just a set-up for disappointment and loss of motivation.

Keep in mind that you need to get your mind on the right track in order to a) get motivated and b) stay motivated to lose weight. Weight loss is a long term project and to be successful in sticking with it over the long term will require a weight loss mindset. This is 92.8% of the solution to successful weight loss. 7.2% of the solution is a healthy eating plan and exercise plan.

When I’m working with a weight loss coaching client my focus is on helping them change their mindset. They already know what they need to do to lose weight, their problem is they aren’t able to get motivated to do it and they aren’t able to stay consistent once they get started. This is all due to mindset issues that will block you forever from the weight loss your crave. The good news is that once you get the right mindset, you’ll stop getting in your own way!

If you want the complete system to get a weight loss mindset as quickly as possible, this is what I’ve put together for my weight loss coaching clients. To find out if it might be a good fit for me to coach you to a weight loss mindset so that you can finally get in motion to lose weight and keep it off, apply here for your first step.

But don’t delay: every moment you wait is another moment for self-doubt to grow and overeating to continue. If instead you take action to move towards the solution, then you can begin leaving your food and weight struggles behind you. Click here to move forward now!
